Anterior Repair
Over time, and many times after experiencing childbirth the wall between a woman’s bladder and her vagina can weaken allowing the bladder to hang out of the vagina. This problem can be solved with a minimally invasive procedure called an anterior repair. An incision is made in the front aspect of the vagina, the bladder is put back in place and your physician may choose to insert a material to strengthen the vaginal wall to make it stronger and prevent the bladder from falling again.
